Administration in the Health Services

In this program you will develop the skills needed to obtain, process, and apply data inherent to the vitality of the health services industry and those it serves. Students are able to get hands-on experience in using health services technology applications, coding, and a solid understanding of successful business practices with the provided coursework. After finishing this program, you will be ready for careers in the billing and insurance business in different healthcare environments, such as practitioners' offices, hospitals, and long term care facilities.

Health Services Management (B.B.A. and B.S.)

Through our programs, you will be familiarized with the growing health services industry as well as the vital business and technology skills that are needed in this business, as it becomes more complex each day. Major courses are offered, focusing on the structure and the dynamics of the health care industry, allowing you to gain an understanding of the key role and contributions of a wide range of individuals and organizations, such as hospitals, rehabilitation and long-term health care units, and various practitioners. Upon completion of the program, the requisite duties in Health Service Management will be in your skill set.

Health Services Administration (A.A.S.)

Our curriculum, with foremost emphasis in administration and technology, will help you understand the dynamic and rapidly emergent health care industry. After taking major courses and participating in an internship in a health services organization, you will become familiar with a very complicated field and study interactions between government funding agencies and healthcare providers. You will be well prepared for many positions in the healthcare industry due to your extensive to business and technology learning.
