How can this be? I thought men were supposed to be intimidated by the educated woman with a good career? God forbid if our salaries were higher than his, right? Well apparently, they don’t care about it now. They want to ¨put a ring on it” with a woman who has ¨more education and income than they have¨. This is according to a New York Times article. This article references census data by the Pew Research Center.Basically, it says that the increase of working women in recent decades has convinced men that women with higher economic possibilities are a much greater benefit for men. In addition, men seem to (finally) realize that an educated woman with similar goals and values make better life partners.
