Chamberlain College of Nursing was established to prepare its students with the education necessary for lifelong careers in the nursing profession.
At present, we offer two paths for nursing education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program
- Associate Degree of Nursing (ADN) Program with two levels of entry and exit.
Our BSN program provides two options: you can go the route of the traditional 4-year on-campus program or you can take a combination on-campus/online programs specifically geared for those who are already RNs who want to earn a BSN. Two choices are available for the ADN program. This particular program will give non-traditional students an opportunity they didn't have before to receive their ADN online. You can get a practical nursing license by taking the licensing exam halfway through the program. LPN's can bridge toward their associate's degree using both the campus learning option and the Internet learning option.
General education will give you the base needed to continue in any major, including nursing. Adding both clinical and non-clinical nursing courses in each program allows students to be better prepared for practice at varying levels of experience and responsibility from entry-level jobs through advanced graduate level.
Graduates of the BSN Degree Program will have gained expertise in order to provide professional health care and clinical services. Chamberlain baccalaureate programs include experience in clinical care nursing, leadership roles, and community health settings, to name a few. Within the profession of nursing, Chamberlain is committed to career mobility. Graduates of our ADN program have the skills to practice as registered nurses in selected areas of health care.
