ECPI College of Technology offers an online education and degree programs in a variety of fields. The online campus is located in Virginia Beach, Virginia and provides a small class environment that meets individual student needs.
The college offers both bachelor's degree programs and associate's degree and/or diploma programs. An associate's degree or diploma is available in accounting, network security, business administration, and electronics engineering. A bachelor's degree is offered in programs such as IT management, network security, criminal justice, information technology, electronics engineering, and business administration.
The college provides two-way communication between student and faculty with its web-based network. The log-in portal provides a means to calculate class attendance, homework submission, and grade-check. The professors are able to communicate with each student individually or as a group through this portal as well as simulation software. Students are encouraged to interact with one another and take part in online class discussions. Students have direct access to their professors and team members for discussion, grade inquiries, and even tutoring if necessary. Faculty hold virtual office hours for one on one meetings. There is technical support offered 24 hours a day for students in the event that problems arise in accessing the online portal or submitting online tests or homework.
ECPI College of Technology offers scholarships and financial aid to qualifying students in order to afford their online education. Admission representatives and financial aid experts are available online and via telephone to provide information on which scholarships, grants, and loans are available to the students and the qualifications required.
The college offers a career services department to its students. The department provides assistance in resume building, job applications, career searches, interviewing techniques, references, and cover letter writing. ECPI also provides access to an online library and personalized access to its resources.
