Grantham University Criminal Justice graduates are expertly qualified for a career in many different aspects of law enforcement, including detection, apprehension, detention, pre-trial release, post-trial release, prosecution, adjudication, correctional supervision, or rehabilitation of offenders or the accused. We offer courses that cover the most important aspects of corrections systems and practices, criminal procedure, white collar crime, criminal justice research and methods, judicial process, community policing, and much more.

Homeland Security

121 credit hours must be completed to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice with a focus on Homeland Security at Grantham University. This is ideally suited for an individual who wants to know more about the practical and theoretical strategies of analyzing and implementing the criminal justice field based on their desires.

Electives

The Homeland Security electives in this course will qualify students to work in border protection and emergency preparedness careers. Careers available to graduates include: intelligence, terrorism prevention and analysis, FEMA, and border security.

It is recommended to take classes in this sequence: Understanding Terrorism Principles of Terrorism, Terrorism and the United States, National Security Border/Coastal Security Elements, Topics in Counterterrorism, Emergency Planning.

Electronics Engineering Technology (EET)
