Post University's degree programs are accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. We can grant Associate, Baccalaureate, and Masters Degrees in a variety of fields including:

Students can choose from a variety of certificate programs for specialty concentrations, but they can obtain associate or baccalaureate degrees as well.

Criminal Justice Studies

Post University's academic programs are accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges: the same accreditation standards applied to Harvard and Yale. For example some of the degree programs offered include associate, baccalaureate and master's degrees in business, information technology, health, entertainment/sports, equine business management and security and social services; all are licensed by the State of Connecticut. Many of our certificate programs are preparatory for practicing specific specialties and can be combined into an associate or baccalaureate degree.
Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice
The Criminal Justice program prepares students for careers in the public, private, and non-profit sectors in the fields of enforcement of law, security management, and public and private investigation. During their senior year, students will have the opportunity to put their learning into practice by participating in professional internships. Providing students with practical experience, these may be taken with a local, state, federal, or private agency to complete their academic studies.
Criminal Justice graduates of Post University have the educational background and training to understand the process of criminal justice, the juvenile justice system and the legal framework within the justice system, as well as ethical considerations and professionalism necessary for a career in criminal justice. Students can expect to study topics such as law enforcement, criminal procedure, juvenile justice and security among others. This aids them in reaching their goals by teaching them skills needed for law enforcement, security, justice and corrections administration professions.
Career opportunities for post graduates include correction officer, counselor, guard, parole and probation officer, police detective, special agent, private investigator; law school graduates may enter a career as lawyer or judge

Bachelor’s of Science in Legal Studies
This program focuses the student on career goals and opportunities in a number of professional areas. Upon completion of this program, you will have the skills and abilities to obtain employment as a paralegal in many different organizations.
The program here is well-recognized for its leadership in giving students real-world education and cutting-edge knowledge. Our program provides students with a firm grasp of the ethics of working in the legal system in the areas of business, government, and society. The student can explore both traditional skill-based subject areas and state-of-the-art topics because both Internet and classroom-directed instructions are integrated in our curriculum.
Students may choose a concentration in one of five areas:
- Corporate Law
- Law and Technology
- Civil and Criminal Trial
- Environmental Law
- Law Office Administration.
While some of our graduates go on to law school or graduate school, others join the work force immediately as paralegals in law firms, businesses and government agencies.
