Utica College

Utica College is located in the middle of Central New York and offers an accredited online bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree programs in a wide variety of fields. This private institution was founded in 1946 by Syracuse University.

Utica College offers online certificates in financial crimes investigation and gerontology and bachelor's degrees in cyber security, economic crime investigation, and RN-BS nursing. Master's degrees are offered in economic crime management, MBA fraud management and professional accountancy, criminal justice administration, health care administration, and occupational therapy. Doctoral degrees in physical therapy are also available.

All faculty at Utica College are experts in their field. All possess a master's and/or doctoral degree in their area of specialty. The professors make themselves available to the students both in and outside of class time. Instructors hold designated office hours and respond to all online communication via email or web conferencing. An online web-based portal is available for students to participate in online discussions with their professors and fellow classmates. Many times the portal will provide opportunities to gain extra credit for class discussion, commenting, and class participation.

Academic advising can also be obtained online via email or web chat. Academic and student advisors are available to the online students to answer questions about curriculum, grading, financial aid, and more. A financial aid office is open to discuss assistance or payment arrangement for tuition.

A comprehensive career services department is available to students and alumni of Utica College. Career services provide assistance to students from start to finish of their online education and then provide employment assistance. The career services department includes resume workshops, cover letter writing, interviewing skills, and job search strategies. The services are also available to the college's alumni undergoing job transfers. Before graduation students can compile a strong employment portfolio.
